As busy last minute Christmas shoppers rush home to the warmth and comfort of their houses, a homeless mother is left alone seeking warmth and shelter for her baby. As she seeks help from the houses down the streets, she encounters some unwelcoming responses.
This humerous yet moving story takes a look into how and why people celebrate Christmas. It is both entertaining and challenging as we are all able to see a reflection of ourselves through these slightly exaggerated characters.
As the story unfolds it eventually draws a parallel between this homeless mother and Mary and Joseph seeking refuge in Bethlehem.
The traditional Christmas nativity story is then told.
There are seven contemporary sounding songs within this production varying from slow moving ballads to lively Rock 'n' Roll which
children will sing and act to with great enthusiasm.
